Amici Signature Italian blends the traditional with the eclectic to create a truly unique dining experience. Chef Bartolino Cocuzza offers Northern and Southern Italian cuisine with a French sensibility. A personable host, Chef Bartolino often found outside the kitchen, chatting with diners and attending to their needs. This atmosphere of casual elegance has kept the regulars coming back since 1991.
Alongside the delicious traditional favorites, such as Lasagna and Veal Scaloppini, the menu offers ambitious daily specials like Grilled Elk (served with caramelized onions in Burgundy wine and butternut squash), or Roast Duck (sliced and served with a cassis sauce). Making the choice even more difficult are the Veal Chop Royale (smothered with sautéed mushrooms and finished with a spicy green peppercorn brandy cream sauce) and the Lamb Loin Encroute (wrapped in puff pastry with Texas goat cheese, whole roast garlic and sun-dried tomato, baked and finished with a cabernet wine sauce). These signature dishes definitely showcase Chef Bartolino's penchant for innovation.
Amici is open for lunch Tuesday through Friday, and dinner Tuesday through Saturday. Reservations are recommended for dinner and groups. No jacket is required. Amici does not serve wine or alcohol, but patrons are welcome to bring their own to compliment their meal.
Amici is located in Old Downtown Carrollton on the Square, just off I-35 and Belt Line Road. There is plenty of free parking.
